33th International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs

PEOPLE FROM EVERY WALK OF LIFE
- Level: the competition is open to all top-level amateur pianists
- Program: this is no set program
- Preliminaries: candidate’s choice (10 minutes maximum)
- Semi-finals: a work by Bach and a romantic composition (15 minutes)
- Finals: free program (30 minutes)
The same pieces played in the preliminaries and semi-finals can be played in the finals. Ten semi-finalists and five finalists will be selected.
- Dates:
- Preliminaries: Wednesday, 19 and Thursday, 20 November 2025
- Semi-finals: Friday, 21 November 2025, 6pm
- Finals: Saturday 22 November 2025, 5pm, Sorbonne Université
- Pre-requisites:
- Professional pianists may not compete.
- Minimum age: 18 (no upper age limit).
- Send your application to: Le Concours des Grands Amateurs de Piano – 23, rue Raynouard – 75016 Paris, with your full name, address and profession. Please enclose an electronic photo jpg.
- Enrolment fee: $ 60
- Deadline: July 25, 2025 with a limit of 100 candidates in order of arrival.
- Awards: The prize winner receive an award of $ 3000 and give a concert with orchestra in Paris.
